PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE EXPERIENCE

As a junior he advised in many general common law cases, but Court work was predominantly in Circuit crime.  Since taking Silk he has for the last 17 years appeared exclusively in criminal cases mainly in the Crown Court, but also in the Court of Appeal and Privy Council.

Extensive experience in conducting murder trials, serious sexual offences, and substantial frauds.  Appeared both for and against: Customs & Excise in drug conspiracies, Health & Safety executive in fatal cases.
