RANGE OF EXPERIENCE
Nigel has experience of a wide range of civil litigation. He practises in general civil law and specialises in property (e.g. landlord & tenant, restrictive covenants, easements, boundary disputes and applications under TOLATA 1996) and employment (e.g unfair and wrongful dismissal, sex, race and disability discrimination, unlawful deductions and claims under the working time regulations).

CAREER PATH
Nigel was called to the Bar in November 1997. He undertook his 1st six pupillage at the Chambers of Simeon Thrower, 11 Old Square, Lincoln’s Inn and his 2nd six at the Chambers of Anthony Shaw Q.C. 4 Brick Court, Temple. He became a tenant of 11 Old Square in November 1999 and joined 13 KBW in July 2004.

His professional practice is in general civil work, specialising in:

- Public and Administrative Law.

- Reported cases include Pratt v. D.P.P., Times, 22nd August 2001; [2002] ACD 2 - Protection from Harassment Act 1997- Behaviour amounting to a "course of conduct". Lawrence v. Bertram [2004] Fam. Law- Trusts of Land and Trustees Appointment Act 1996- Jurisdiction to order one co-owner to sell their share to the other co-owner.
- Advising, negotiating and drafting in the above mentioned areas.
