Alexander Dawson

Sandy Dawson has well over 30 years' experience of all aspects of common law, including crime, civil litigation and family matters. Since 1982, he has specialised in personal injury litigation, and clinical and other professional negligence for both claimants and defendants.

He graduated from New College, Oxford in 1967 and was called to the Bar in 1969.
He joined the Chambers of Gwyn Morris QC as a pupil in 1969, becoming a tenant in 1970.

In 1971 he was a founder member of the set of chambers set up at 13 King's Bench Walk under Frank Whitworth QC, where he has been in practice ever since. He was appointed Assistant Recorder in 1985 and Recorder in 1989.
