He graduated from University of East Anglia 1979 and was called to the Bar in 1984. He was in pupillage with and joined the Chambers of Peter Crawford QC, now Julian Baughan QC, at 13 King's Bench Walk and the annexe at 13 KBW Oxford, where he has practised to this day.
