Paul Harrison

Paul was admitted as a solicitor in 1980 and was called to the Bar in 2006. After 2 years in private practice in London he joined the Thames Valley Prosecuting Solicitor's Department in 1982; transferring to the CPS on its creation in 1986.
Paul has a wealth of experience in criminal practice. He has prosecuted many high profile cases in Thames Valley. In the 1990s he was the head of the War Crimes Unit. He was a visiting expert to the Council of Europe where he took part in the scheme to modernise criminal law and practice in the emerging democracies of Eastern Europe.
He is experienced in police professional standards enquiries, mutual legal assistance, and extradition.
Paul is an experienced advocate in both the Magistrates and Crown Court.
